Bumpy Roads

No, not another gloomy day. I cycled to work today, and the roads here rate as some of the worst I've ever seen. I feel better for it though, that and the exhaustion brought on by a 3 ½ meeting this afternoon, then cycling to the gym for an hours Spinning (if you don't know what Spinning is, look here).

I'm also exhausted after finishing Winston Churchill's "The Second World War" ~ and this was the abridged version. I read all six volumes when I was a student, but even the abridged version is a heavy piece of work. Amazing though, truly a great narrative.

It's obviously what I needed, as I'm in a better mood than yesterday, and not stinging quite as much. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
