Le Cure 2022 Day 2. A loong day in the blazing sun 🌞 A clear sky, 32°C, pretty draining 133km with 1950m of climbing. Amazing views again with km’s of apples orchards, all with a bunch of really dedicated people here to raise money for cancer research for The Royal Marsden. What’s more amazing is to watch cancer survivors, family of survivors, fat and thin fundraisers and fools like me cycle in the blazing sun up a mountain that regularly featured in the Tour de France to raise money. A not so quick 75km ride this morning as a last gasp training effort for this years Le Cure starting next week, but some good climbing, so not too bad. You still have time to sponsor me (go on, I know you want to). I’m not asking for money for my personal use but to help the 1/7 people who will get breast cancer. Le Cure is 100% volunteer run and all the costs of the tour are borne by the participants so that all the funds raised can be spent directly on research.
