Well, il giorno di ferragosto is upon us again, and Rome is hot and deserted. I'm off to lago martignano to keep cool, but for anyone else who is in Rome and wants to cool off then I can recommend escaping the heat during the day by visiting the exhibition Passaggi in India. Ieri e oggi at the Scuderie del Quirinale. In the night time, wandering around the terraces of Castel Sant'Angelo is a great way to escape. They have a restaurant, bar, ice cream, music, theatre, puppets, and best of all a chance to walk along the Passetto di Borgo, leading to the Vatican Palace. Don't forget your camera!
